Creating the Next Generation of Conservationists in Canada

Earth Rangers (Éco Héros in French) is Canada’s leading environmental education and conservation organization for children aged 6-12, empowering kids and families to take action for the planet. Through award-winning programs, Earth Rangers connects with children both at home and in the classroom, offering positive messaging and hands-on activities that show kids how the choices we make today will matter tomorrow.

Earth Rangers’ innovative School Assembly Program reaches over 850 schools and hundreds of thousands of students annually, providing a foundation of understanding for important environmental issues and a focus on tangible solutions. Students then learn how they can get involved by becoming Earth Rangers through a free membership program.

Today, Earth Rangers has more than 400,000 members and alumni nationwide who participate in fun, real-world Missions and Challenges like planting pollinator gardens, reducing food waste, and fixing things instead of throwing them away. These activities promote environmental literacy, leadership, and reduce environmental anxieties by providing a sense of agency.

Power Corporation of Canada and Canada Life proudly support Earth Rangers’ mission to grow the next generation of environmental stewards. We believe that reaching young Canadians at a young age is crucial in instilling much-needed environmental values in our citizens, and ultimately growing the next generation of conservationists to steward our planet. Earth Rangers is a vital part of that effort.

The partnership with Power Corporation allows us to reach more schools, inspire more kids, accelerate environmental action from coast to coast and build a generation of young Canadians who are ready and excited to protect the planet.
