Donation Requests

APPLICATION LETTER

For a donation request to be considered, your organization must include an official application letter. The following information must be included:

• A brief description of the organization’s mission;
• The details of your request, including the donation amount requested;
• The location and date of the event, if applicable;
• The contact information for the resource person within the organization; and
• Other important partners you may have, if applicable.

ELIGIBILITY OF REQUESTS

The following organizations or projects are not eligible for financial support from Power Corporation:

• Individual projects or ones in support of one individual in particular;
• For-profit organizations or companies;
• Donor-advised funds, private foundations or personal trusts;
• Organizations that discriminate based on race, religion, sex, age, nationality, ethnicity, handicap, political affiliation or sexual orientation;
• Political causes, candidates, organizations or campaigns;
• Religious or sectarian organizations (with the exception of non-denominational projects or activities organized for the benefit of society at-large); and
• In-kind donations.

On account of the strategic priorities defined by the members of the Donations Committee, we unfortunately cannot accommodate all the requests we receive.

Requests for financial support may be submitted at any time through our online form. Once we receive your completed form, it will undergo an internal evaluation process that may take up to three (3) months. We will contact you if we require any additional information to complete our assessment.
